Where do I find the use by date on your products?
Our products are made fresh to order, meaning they arrive to you generally just days after being made. You can find the PAO (Period After Opening) symbol on the back of each product and the numeral 6M or 12M. These numerals indicate how long you can use each product after opening. For example, the 6M symbol indicated 6 months, and the 12M symbol indicates 12 months after opening.

Should I wipe Boobie Balm off prior to feeding?
Although our Boobie Balm is natural and safe for your baby’s skin, we do recommend wiping any excess off prior to feeding to ensure a correct, non-slip latch. Boobie Balm is best applied to dry nipples after feeding.

Can I use Bootie Balm on my baby/child for things other than nappy rash?
Yes you can.. our Bootie Balm is multifunctional and safe to use on other issues like minor cuts, rashes, burns, bug bites and skin irritations including dry skin and eczema. It is suitable for any age. We do recommend doing a patch test on the inner arm of your child first to check for any sensitivities.

Can I use Boobie Balm on other parts of the body in addition to boobies?
Yes.. the Boobie Balm is a multifunctional balm suitable for dry skin and minor skin irritations. It can be used as a lip balm, hand balm and all over body balm.

Can I use Being Balm on my child? 
Yes you can.. however, we recommend using it for children aged 2 years and older - the Bootie Balm is a great gentle, effective option up until then.

Can I use the Being Balm and face oils while pregnant?
Yes, our Being Balm and face oils only contain a 1% dilution of essential oils, making them a gentle and safe option. We do recommend doing a patch test on your inner arm first to check for any sensitivities. Always check with your healthcare provider first if you have any concerns.

Are your products formulated for all skin types? 
We endeavour to be as inclusive as possible when formulating, and our products suit most skin types. The balms are formulated to be as gentle as possible while still being effective. The Summer Face Oil is perfect for the warmer months, or for more combination to oily skin year round. The Winter Face Oil is perfect for the cooler months, or for normal, mature and dry skin year round. They are fine for use on sensitive skin, or skin conditions like rosacea. We do recommend patch testing on a small area first to check for any sensitivities.

Do you offer your products wholesale? 
Yes we do, please get in touch and we will be happy to send you some more information. 

How do I use your face oils? 
Apply the face oils after cleansing and toning. They can be used over the top of your moisturiser - one drop for each zone of the face concentrating on areas of dryness. Test with one small drop first to see how it feels with your skin and your chosen moisturiser. Alternatively, you can mix 1-2 drops of oil with your moisturiser then apply. 

You can also use these as a cleanser. Apply oil to damp skin and leave for 2 minutes. Wipe off with a warm, damp and clean cloth.

Our face oils can be used morning and night. They are safe to use during pregnancy, if used as per our usage instructions.

Can your face oils be used in place of a moisturiser? 
Our face oils can be used in place of a moisturiser. We always recommend applying to damp skin for ease of application and to lock in moisture. You could do this with water, or a toner such as rose water or witch hazel.

Are your products organic?
While our products are not certified organic, we use organic ingredients where possible, with the majority of our products being at least 90% organic.

Are your products natural?
We are proud to say that our entire range is 100% natural, meaning we do not use any synthetic ingredients in any of our formulations.

Do you have smaller samples sizes of your products to try? 
At this stage we do not have any sample sizes of our products available for purchase. Please feel free to contact us directly with any queries and we will be more than happy to assist with your decision about whether Being Skincare is the right fit for you. We can also let you know whether there is a stockist near you where you could test our products on your skin.

Can I request gift wrapping and a note for my delivery?
We do not offer gift wrapping at this stage. However, our Mother + Baby Gift Pack comes in a reusable natural cotton drawstring bag and makes for the perfect gift. We also include a beautiful thank you card for each order with the option to include a short love note. This can be filled in at checkout.
